Accomplished...

Man, what a pretty productive day. I got my car fixed (finally), got my room all cleaned up, and unloaded the dishwasher. I mention this because I felt AWFUL this morning when I woke up. I thought I had a fever but then realized I was wrong thankfully, my throat hurt, head was pounding and I had a cough. Luckily though, I'm feeling much better but still have a bit of a cough. I didn't start feeling better though until about 1 or 2 pm.

**Note to self** Make sure to remember the scarf next time walking Shaggy. It was bad when I wasn't feeling like crap, but it was almost unbearable this morning.

So I'm feeling pretty accomplished today.

Not much else to talk about right now. I'm getting kind of tired though so hopefully I can get myself in bed relatively soon seeing as I have to get up for the damn cleaning service at 7:30 am. Damn them and their cleaning ways!

Be back tomorrow!

No, they interviewed the squirrel...

When did getting your car fixed become so crazy? I swear, I went all day to get my car worked on and sure enough it is in the same condition as when the day started. Let me start from the top. I had been hearing a "whirring noise" coming from the front of my car that was getting worse. It had been a little over a month since the first time I had noticed the noise. I had to walk the dog this morning so I was up to take my car to Goodyear this morning. I took it there and left it at a little after 10 am. They called me around an hour later to tell me that they really didn't know what was wrong. The person I was talking to wanted me to describe the noise better so I did and he said they would call back to let me know what they found.

Calling back a little later, I was told that the power steering part of my car was pretty much on the fritz and needed to be changed out. That wasn't the bad part. For the part alone, the price was...$577!!! My mouth hit the floor when I heard that. Who would have ever thought that a power steering pump would cost that much. Add in around $140 for labor plus taxes and you have about $800 worth of car repairs. Now I wasn't paying this due to my mother paying it, but it has just seems like every time I have something done to the car to fix it something else pops up that needs fixin'.

After that bombshell was dropped I authorized the fixing of the car after talking to my mother. I asked the guy I was talking to how long it would take, he told me it would take about an hour for the part to get there then probably another hour and a half to actually get it in and fix it. I had this conversation at about 11:15 am. He said he would call me when they are finished and it's ready to be picked up. 4 pm rolls around and I haven't heard anything from them. I call over there and it turns out that they had gotten the piece they needed but had fallen behind and hadn't even started putting it in. The guy said it would probably take another 2-3 hours before it was done and I didn't have that time. So after all that, I have a car that still needs fixing and I'm taking it back tomorrow to HOPEFULLY have it fixed.

All in all, I really hate getting my fixed. Not only do I have to leave my car at the shop, but I don't have my spare car anymore ha ha. It sucks, but that's life.

Right now I'm watching NCIS at Kait's house and enjoying myself. Dinner was really good as it usually is here. I'm looking forward to the rest of the night and I shall be back tomorrow with more thoughts! Goodnight!

Lazy day...

Hmmm, what a lazy day today. I guess since I am on my break still it's ok to have these, but I just feel so useless. With Catie gone on her camping trip and Mom working, I'm left with the dog at home and nothing to do. I'm hoping that I can get my self to the gym for the remainder of the break, once each day that is. My motivation isn't quite there but with Toni barking in my ear about it, that should be motivation enough. I'm finally putting the finishing touches on cleaning my room. Yes I know I told you it would be done Sunday Kait, but you know about my procrastination issues. It looks pretty clean and I'm hoping to be able to keep it that way for a while.

Changing subjects a bit, after Christmas and New Year pass I hate it because I don't really have anything left to look forward too. I have ALWAYS looked forward to Christmas due to the presents and family but once it's gone it really sucks, ha ha. Speaking of, I bet I am one of the few 24 year olds in the country that still has trouble sleeping on Christmas Eve. It's not even really because of the presents anymore because I know what I'm getting pretty much every year. I think it's just the excitement of the time of year and the culmination of that being Christmas Day. Who knows though, but I doubt I will be getting over it anytime soon. Not that that's a bad thing.

Since I have some free time before classes start back up in a few weeks, I am really going to look in earnest at things to do in Las Vegas for Spring Break. Neither my mom or sister want to go for the whole week, which is fine, but there is no point in going if we are going to stay a day and come back. Hell the plane ride itself is like 6 hours, not to mention it's there and back and the all the airport time. I just hope we can agree on 5 days so everyone is happy and we can have a good time. We don't go ANYWHERE EVER and I think if given the chance, this could be a really awesome trip.

I believe that's it for today. Until tomorrow!

First Blog Post Ever!

So here I am, pouring my soul out to everyone in internet land, ha ha. I'm going to try and update this on a regular basis with what I'm doing with my life, where I'm going, and just what I'm up to and how I'm feeling.

Currently I'm a bit tired from staying up to late the night before. Lucky me gets to get up early to take my car in to have it inspected due to the weird noise it's making which makes me nervous ha ha. Those that know me know I don't know much about cars at all.

I finally got in the new age and received a Playstation 3 for Christmas. I'm enjoying it quite a bit and love the Bluray player in addition to being able to play video games. Truth be told, I'm not as big a video game player as I used to be, but I do still enjoy it quite a bit. I'm contemplating getting the Netflix that will stream through the Playstation 3, but it's not free obviously. Since I currently am unemployed that might present a problem. I'll give it some more thought though and see what I really want to do.

Alright, I've blabbed long enough. I'll be back soon I'm sure though!
